Anyone between ages of 3 and 93 in Denver knows where Elitch Gardens Amusement Park is. Original park opened back in 1890 under name “Elitch Zoological Garden” and a decade later took on its current name – “Elitch Gardens”. It officially moved to the location well known to so many in 1995.
Since then it has gone through several major construction phases, several ownerships and has significantly expanded in size.
However, very soon it is going to undergo another major project, known as ” River Mile” project.
It is a multi-year development south of Platt River will completely change the look of 62 acres that include Elitch Garden. First phase, set to break ground within next couple of years will only be on 18 acres immediately adjacent to the amusement park and will kick off this project.
Platt River area has been exponentially growing and adding more and more charm to the City of Denver. Denver Beer Company, WeWork, Galvanize, DaVita, REI are some of the companies that choose this neighborhood as their home base and we can not wait to see who else will join them in the future. Here are a couple of designs from the property owner: Revesco Properties.
