Denver is America’s 16th fastest-growing city
We could not be more proud to do business in Denver: America’s 16th fastest-growing city, based on both population and economy according to Forbes.
- Forbes ranked the nation’s 100 largest metro areas on rates of growth of the local population, jobs and gross metropolitan product in 2012 as well as projected population growth this year.
- Forbes said the Denver – Aurora – Broomfield metro area’s population grew 1.3 percent last year and is expected to grow by that rate this year.
- It said the local job growth rate was 2.4 percent in 2012, and that gross metro product rose by 3.3 percent.
- Three Texas cities topped Forbes’ list: Austin, Houston and Dallas.
